News Politics: Nigel Farage is eyeing a sensational return to front-line politics after No10 was forced to reject a plot to sign a Swiss-style relationship with the EU. The MEP and Brexit frontrunner said ‘treason will never be forgiven’ if the government finds a way to make the UK more aligned with the EU.
And last night Mr Farage hinted he was actively considering a return to defend UK independence from the bloc.
In a stark warning to the Prime Minister if he continues to reopen the Brexit deal, he said on social media: ‘Conservatives must be crushed’.
“If they really betrayed Brexit, I should do something,” he said.
